Modesto Mora, M.D.

Modesto Mora, together with his brothers, founded the Pan American Hospital in 1963, the first hospital in Miami adapted to the Cuban culture. Mora later became co-owner of Kendall Regional, previously known as American Hospital, and North Ridge Hospital in Fort Lauderdale. Mora was also a member of the Florida Board of Medical Examiners and, together with Dr. Henrique Huertas, offered annual medical congresses that became successful among Cuban physicians living in the U.S.
