Amaury Gutierrez was born in San Antonio de las Vueltas, Cuba in 1963. In his homeland, he became a talented singer-songwriter in the “Trova” genre. He left Cuba for Mexico in 1993, where he continued his musical career. Soon thereafter, he left Mexico for Miami, Florida.
In Miami, Amaury has continued his successful musical career, touring and recording albums. Many renown Hispanic artists have recorded songs written by Gutierrez, including David Bisbal, Luis Enrique, Gilberto Santa Rosa, Luis Fonsi and Paloma San Basilio.
In 2011, Amaury Gutierrez won a Latin Grammy for Best Album by a Singer-Songwriter. He continues to tour in the United States and abroad.
