Daniel Perez
Daniel Perez was born in New York City in 1988, relocating with his family to Miami’s Westchester neighborhood at the age of six. Perez was educated at Florida State University, earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminology. He received his Juris Doctorate from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, serving as President of the Student Bar Association. He is an associate at the Miami office of Cole, Scott & Kissane, P.A., practicing in the areas of General Civil Litigation, Mass Tort Litigation, Products Liability, and Premises Liability.
Perez was elected to the Florida House of Representatives in 2016 as a Republican, representing District 116. He serves on the Judiciary Committee, the Public Integrity & Ethics Committee, and the Careers & Competition, Civil Justice & Claims, Health Quality, and
Higher Education Appropriations Subcommittees.
Mr. Perez serves as the Vice Chair of the Miami-Dade County Hispanic Affairs Board. He also serves as a Board Member of the Epilepsy Foundation of Florida, the Christopher Columbus High School Alumni Board, and is involved with the BLUE Missions Group, the Boys Hope Girls Hope Foundation, Kiwanis of Little Havana, and Live Like Bella.
He is married to Stephanie Perez and lives in Miami.
