Frank Hernandez, M.D.

Frank Hernandez was born in Cuba and established his medical practice in Miami in 1949. He was director of the National Children’s Cardiac Hospital, which later became the University of Miami Hospital. He organized the first cardiac catheterization unit for children at this institution. He died in the late 1970s.
